Submitting a photo

To have your headshot included, please follow these instructions and submit your headshot by May 2.

Getting a Headshot:

You can submit a headshot that you already have, or you can take a new one! Please keep these considerations in mind when taking your headshot, or picking an existing headshot to submit:

• Ensure your face is well lit, but do not use flash. Make sure the top of your head is not out of the frame. The best way to get a well-lit photo is to take it inside by a window during the middle of the day, or outside around sunrise/sunset.
• Keep your background simple, and ensure nothing inappropriate is in the frame.
• Take your photo in portrait orientation (the picture should be taller than it is wide)
• Smile!
• Optional: Your cap and gown, You can get yours in the bookstore for the quickest delivery, or place your order online. If you’d like to be wearing yours in your headshot, order soon!

Instructions to upload your headshot:

1. If you can, rename your photo to LAST NAME_FIRST NAME_STUDENT ID
   1. i.e. Davidson, April, 123456789
   2. Reminder, your Student ID # is the 9 digit number on your Lobo ID card
   3. If you cannot rename your file, please be sure to follow Step #5
2. Visit unmsoe.wetransfer.com from your computer or phone, wherever your photo is stored
3. Add your photo (Either the “Add your files” button or the “Send a file?” button.
4. Enter your email
5. In the message field please include your favorite quote or memory about your time at SOE/UNM (250 characters maximum), and include LAST NAME_FIRST NAME_STUDENT ID
6. Send the file! (You may need to verify your email)
